You will visit some of Tanzania’s renowned game reserves, partake in a walking safari in Arusha National Park, visit Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large elephant population, as well as search for rare black rhino in the Ngorongoro Crater, and no safari is complete without a visit to the Serengeti National Park. You trip ends in exotic Zanzibar for a few days of sun, sea and endless beaches.

You will land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Welcome to Africa! Karibu Tanzania. Upon leaving customs you will be warmly welcomed by your driver. It is about a 1-hour drive to Kili Seasons Hotel; on arrival you will be kindly welcomed by our team.
Sleep in a bit, enjoy a delectable à la carte breakfast. In the morning a representative from the safari company will brief you on your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. After the briefing you are free to participate in our free nature walk which takes your around the surrounding area, you may even encounter some smaller game on you walk. When back you are free to relax and enjoy the facilities at the hotel.
You will leave the hotel at 10:00, and head out to visit Dinka School. Kili Seasons Hotel and the school are closely connected. The school’s missions are to provide quality education, thus ensuring a life with more opportunities and a brighter future. After the school tour you will head into Arusha City the driver will discuss with you some of the options you have and what can be visited during your visit to the city.
You will leave the Hotel at 08:00 to visit the Tarangire National Park which is located approximately 2.5-hours away. Take in the scenery and observe the herds grazing on the land of the Massai tribes who live in the area. The park is a long narrow park and is 2,850 km2 in size it is also renowned for its large elephant population.
Today you will depart for the village of Mto wa Mbu which is a green oasis located on the vast Massai plains. Due to the abundance of water crops of rice and bananas are grown in the area. The fertile land has attracted more than 40 different tribes, it is a melting pot of different cultures all living peacefully together. A bike ride of approximately 3 hours has been arranged for you, the ride is over flat terrain. On the ride you will view local farmers, a school, a church and the local bar. Your guide may even stop during the ride to allow you to taste the local red bananas. After your bike ride you will enjoy a local lunch that is prepared by local ladies, the lunch is suitable for all tastes. Located in the Ngorongoro Highlands of Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is best known for its archaeological and geological significance, wildlife and captivating landscapes.
Today you will enjoy breakfast and then depart to the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive while you travel to your destination. The Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous and impressive wildlife reserves in Africa. You will have the opportunity to view many different species of animals including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest and you may even encounter cheetah, leopard, rhino and hippo. The animals move though the reserve on the annual migration. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word Siringiti which mean vast plain.
Rise early and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. Then it’s time to explore the park with your private guide. You have the option to either return to the camp to relax and enjoy lunch or take a picnic lunch from the camp and dine at one of the picnic areas located in the park.
Another early start today, you will visit an authentic Maasai Boma located near the lodge, you will get a chance to observe the daily life of the Maasi. Learn about their social, family structure, marriage, roles and responsibilities. Interact with the Maasai women and children, the tour takes around an hour. You then return to the lodge where a scrumptious breakfast awaits you. After breakfast you will depart to the Ngorongoro Crater. Before you begin the descent, you will have a breathtaking view of one of the natural wonders of the world from the edge of the crater. The crater is the world’s largest intact caldera, there is a long descent to reach the floor of the crater. Once on the floor of the crater the variety and abundance of wildlife is unprecedented, and the landscape is remarkable. You will have a chance to perhaps encounter the “Big Five” (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo), and get the opportunity to see the rare black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater is in Northern Tanzania and is famous for its natural beauty and diversity of wildlife.
Today you will drive back to luxurious Kili Seasons Hotel located near USA River, the drive is approximately 3 hours. Bid farewell to your guide who shared his passion for his country with your family. Relax by the swimming pool and soak up the sun, if you would like to do an activity, please enquire at the hotel reception they will happily book one for you. You can play a round of golf, go on a bike ride, do a nature walk, take a coffee tour or go canoeing these are just a few options that can be done.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, the drive takes approximately 1 hour. The flight is a direct flight to Zanzibar and take 1h15 minutes. Please note that a maximum of 20 kgs of luggage is allowed on this flight. On arrival you will be taken to Tembo House Hotel which is in the heart of Stone Town. The hotel is located on the sea and has a swimming pool. Spending a night adds value to your trip, you will experience the sights and sound that are unique to Stone Town. You can also take a walk though the town and visit the slave monument or partake in the famous spice tour. There is also an opportunity to do some shopping as Stone Town is renowned for its markets. A must do is to find a spot that allows you to watch the locals on the beach, as the sun sets and enjoy a sundowner.
Today you will be met by a driver who will take you to “Jambiani” which is located on the Southeast coastline of the island, the drive takes approximately 1 hour from Stone Town. The island covers around 1,500 km2 it has a local population of around 800,000 people. It is characterized by beautiful white tropical sandy beaches lined with palm trees, turquoise waters with beautiful coral reefs full of exotic marine life.
Enjoy a last day of this exotic herbal island.
Depending on your flight times, you will be taken to the airport by a driver from the lodge. Your special trip is over! An unforgettable time with lasting precious memories that you share together. Here we say kwa heri (goodbye) and karibuni tena (welcome again) (in Kiswahili)!
