You will land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Welcome to Africa! Karibu Tanzania. Upon leaving customs you will be warmly welcomed by your driver. It is about a 1-hour drive to Kili Seasons Hotel; on arrival you will be kindly welcomed by our team.

Sleep in a bit, enjoy a delectable à la carte breakfast. In the morning a representative from the safari company will brief you on your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. After the briefing you are free to participate in our free nature walk which takes your around the surrounding area, you may even encounter some smaller game on you walk. When back you are free to relax and enjoy the facilities at the hotel.

You will leave the hotel at 10:00, and head out to visit Dinka School. Kili Seasons Hotel and the school are closely connected. The school’s missions are to provide quality education, thus ensuring a life with more opportunities and a brighter future. After the school tour you will head into Arusha City the driver will discuss with you some of the options you have and what can be visited during your visit to the city.

Your safari is about to begin! You will leave the hotel at 09:00 with your private guide and vehicle. The guides are all well trained and have a passion for their country, culture, landscapes and wildlife. He will brief you on the events for the next few days, please feel free to discuss any special requests you may have with guide he is with you to ensure you have a memorable time. Arusha National Park is extremely lush and offers breath-taking scenery and views of Mount Meru, once in the park you will be doing a walking safari accompanied by a park ranger.

You will leave the Hotel at 08:00 to visit the Tarangire National Park which is located approximately 2.5-hours away. Take in the scenery and observe the herds grazing on the land of the Massai tribes who live in the area. The park is a long narrow park and is 2,850 km2 in size it is also renowned for its large elephant population.

You will enjoy a morning drive in Tarangire National Park. You will experience the captivating views, of the Baobab trees and river that meanders through the park and hopefully encounter one of the many elephant herds. After the drive you will depart for the village of Mto wa Mbu which is a green oasis located on the vast Massai plains. Due to the abundance of water crops of rice and bananas are grown in the area. The fertile land has attracted more than 40 different tribes, it is a melting pot of different cultures all living peacefully together. The village borders the Lake Manyara National Park.

Another early start today, you will visit an authentic Maasai Boma located near the lodge, you will get a chance to observe the daily life of the Maasi. Learn about there social, family structure, marriage, roles and responsibilities. Interact with the Maasai women and children, the tour takes around an hour. You then return to the lodge where a scrumptious breakfast awaits you. After breakfast you will depart to the Ngorongoro Crater. Before you begin the descent, you will have a breathtaking view of one of the natural wonders of the world from the edge of the crater. The crater is the world’s largest intact caldera, there is a long descent to reach the floor of the crater. Once on the floor of the crater the variety and abundance of wildlife is unprecedented, and the landscape is remarkable. You will have a chance to perhaps encounter the “Big Five” (elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo), and get the opportunity to see the rare black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater is in Northern Tanzania and is famous for its natural beauty and diversity of wildlife.

Today you will enjoy breakfast and then depart to the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive while you travel to your destination. The Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous and impressive wildlife reserves in Africa. You will have the opportunity to view many different species of animals including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest and you may even encounter cheetah, leopard, rhino and hippo. The animals move though the reserve on the annual migration. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word Siringiti which mean vast plain.

The village of Mto wa Mbu is a green oasis in the vast Maasai plains. Due to the presence of water, rice and bananas are even grown here! This fertile spot has attracted people from more than 40 different tribes. It is a melting pot of different cultures living peacefully next to each other. The town borders the Lake Manyara national park. You will take a mountain bike ride of approximately 2.5 – 3 hours over flat terrain. The local mothers have prepared a Tanzanian lunch for you, suitable for Western stomachs.

You will travel back to Kili Seasons Hotel today. Dependant on your departure time you can enjoy a lazy lunch at the restaurant or just relax by the swimming pool. We will transfer you to the airport. Your unique trip is over! A cherished journey with long lasting memories that you shared together.
